Question : Second Exchagne 2003 Virtual SMTP

I am setting up a second smtp virtual server in Exchange 2003 SP2, on SBS 2003.  I am using port 2525 for this and have tested it via a telnet session and outlook express.  The messages get accepted for delivery, but then just sit in the virtual servers queue.

What usually prevents them from getting delivered to an outside server?

Thanks a ton,

Troy

Answer : Second Exchagne 2003 Virtual SMTP

the answer to your question is yes.  Do that and test.  You're not going to break anything.

Okay, I found that I can add an additional port under the Advanced button of the General tab, under properties of the Default SMTP Virtual Server.   My question is if it is okay to add an additional port number, in my case 2525, to that VS?
