Question : Backup individual files and folders using Windows 2008 Server Backup
At a loss here.
For some reason when I attempt to setup a Windows 2008 Server backup, I am unable to backup specific folders. It only gives me options for Volumes. Does anyone here know why this is the case?
Thank you,
Answer : Backup individual files and folders using Windows 2008 Server Backup
Windows Server Backup in Windows Server 2008 uses volume backup and didn't support backup of individual files in original Windows Server 2008.
The possibility to backup specific files and folders has been put back in Windows Server 2008 R2.
