Question : MS Office Picture Manager doesn't open images attached to emails
|
|
When I try to open an image file attached to an email (using Outlook to open the mail), Microsoft Office Picture Manager doesn't open the image file. Instead Microsoft Office Picture Manager opens itself and displays rows of icons (the basic file icon Windows uses to represent a file of unknown type).
If I save the attached image file and open it with Microsoft Office Picture Manager, it opens normally.
Microsoft Office Picture Manager works fine in every other way.
Office 2003 SP3

In the end, I edited the entry for the Outlook secure temp folder to C:\Document and Settings.....\Temp instead of C:\Document and Settings.....\Temporary Internet Files. This worked.
