Question : Deleting files from the Windows/Temp folder
I was wondering if it is safe to delete files from my C:/windows/temp folder as I am running low on HDD space and I have files in there that are 1 to 2MB in size. I know what the files are but don't know what they are doing in there. All up there is 5.21MB.

Yes...you can delete everything in the Windows\temp directory. Sometimes, I don't even have a temporary directory in the WIndows directory...but it's not good...coz like I mentioned before, applications like WinZIp will look for temporary folder (sometimes defined in autoexec.bat as "set temp=") and they won't work if they don't find the temporary folder.
The point is....yes....you can delete everything in the temp dir.
