Question : button width: changed from IE6 to IE7 and now button length is very large

Hi,

I've seen this issue on the web but still wasn't able to figure out how to solve it. I had IE6 and everything was very nice, then i changed to IE7 and suddenly my button widths are half the length of the page as you can see in the attached picture (it used to be a little wider then the word 'Search' but now is v.v. wide)

So, I tried to implement one solution i came across on site http://jehiah.cz/archive/button-width-in-ie but wasn't able to do it properly. I tried to alter my normal button to the code below. but nothing changed.

Any ideas?
