Question : Decommission temp DC in 2008, giong to 2008 R2 domain

I am decommissioning a 2008 DC. I have the 2008 R2 DC set up an in the domain. I have transferred the following roles to new DC:

- schema master
- infrastructure master
- PDC
- domain naming master
- RID master

Any thing else I need to do before removing this server as a domain controller?

Make sure the new DC is also a global catalog server.

how is DNS setup in your domain.  Are you running Active directory integrated DNS?  If so make sure the new DC also runs DNS and that clients are pointing to it for DNS.
