Question : Webcam VX-5000

I have a microsoft VX-5000 webcam, I installed it and it works fine until I open other alpplications (Skypt and  manycam 2.4) both of these applications shows a black screen with no image. I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice the lifecam software once from the CD and once from Microsoft's website. Both versions were 2.07.
Now I had it working earlier when I first installed it but now it doesn't. Any help would be appreciated. I am also not getting an image when I connect to skypt echovideo123 through skypt even though the video call goes through. Any help would be appreciated.

Problem solved, by closing the other applications that use my webcam works, I am now able to use it as intended. thanks for the help.
