Question : visio and illustrator integration

What is the best way of integrating line drawings made in Illstrator CS4 in visio? I do most work in Visio, but also use illustrator for line drawings. A typical scenario would be to make a drawing in Visio and then use certain elements from Illustrator. What is the best way of doing this? It would be nice, for example, to be able to combine things in visio with simple paths and preserved connection points. Thanks.

Visio -> Illustrator is easy, just Copy & Paste.
Illustrator -> Visio isn't as fun.  You have to save/convert to a CAD type file and then import that into Visio.
