Question : MS Outlook freezes when forwarding/replying with MS Word editor

We run a published desktop environment that includes MS office 2003 Standard Ed. SP3 and other business related applications.  (MS Exchange 2007)

We have noticed recently that most of our users have frozen in Outlook when forward / replying and Word is set an editor.

The issue arises randomly, on different users and different citrix servers.  

I believe we are totally up to date in terms of office / windows updates.  Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Check for updates for your Word here:

http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdate/default.aspx

Also check  if any addin is causing the problem.  Disable them. Go to Tools > Options > Other > Advanced Options > Addin Manager or COMM/Addins and disable the addins.
