Question : Hanging Downloading

Hey when I'm trying to Download anything I'm facing problem, Its getting hang during downloading and stop downloading. I tried many times but still its getting hang during download its not stopping at the same % percentage everytime. so unable to download, any reason for getting hang if i'm Downloading anything on my laptop its windows vista HP dv6500t
