Question : missing APPS.INF file

I am getting an error message: "APPS.INF file is missing.Copy APPS.INF file from Windows setup disks into Windows INF file." I have no idea how to access the Windows setup disks; I think they are in the Options/Cabs folder, have no way to read them or search them, and the "Find" function fails to locate any APPS.INF file anywhere on my computer.....the worst part is that I don't even know how I lost it! What a week I'm having! Please help again. Thanks! K.Harms
