Question : Nvidia Geforce 8400M GS  in a Sony Vaio SZ650N/C  WINDOWS 7 INCOMPATIBLE?

Okay, so i have Windows 7 Ultimate 32 Bit installed on my sony vaio SZ650n/c and this laptop has the Nvidia GeForce 8400M GS video card installed.

WIndows 7 will not recognize the card, just the onboard intel video.

Nvidia's updated windows 7 drivers DO NOT WORK.
laptopvideo2go.com is completely ridiculous, and i have no idea which driver to download.  However, i have tried a couple, all returning the same error.

Sony does not have any information on what to do, and Nvidia loops me back to Sony.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!

please re-read the original post carefully. The OEM is not compatible, that means that sony's drivers dont work.

However, i have solved this.

find the PCI path to specifically id the card, and then search properly at laptopvideo2go.
