Question : Add/Remove programs display has large gap in listling ?

Hello,
Im having trouble sending and recieving email with Norton Internet security and outlook 2000 on a xp system, so Im tolf by norton to uninstall NIS and see if it helps.

I goto controll panel and see that 1/4-1/3 of my programs are listed !
I search this site for help, see that ALL of my programs ARE listed inthe reg
 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

So Im wondering if the display just needs more time to load, and I scroll al the way down to the bottom, low and behold the other programs are there.

Whats strange is the 5-6 pages of blank space between them ?
Any way to fix ?

Oh, my XPpro is an upgrade from win 2000pro
and I guess this is my first time looking in the add remove area since...

Answer : Add/Remove programs display has large gap in listling ?

Go to the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall now look for sub keys between the last item you see at the top of list and then first item in the list at the bottom. Click on each sub key one at a time and see on the right if Display name is empty if so then that or those keys are the problem just delete those sub keya.
