Question : Connect a Dell

How do you network a Dell Dimension 1100 to a Network with Windows XP Pro SP2.  The computer can see and connect to the Internet but will not connect to a computer that has the shared printer that I want to print to.

RON here is 2 steps .....
 
1) Share out the printer on the host using the Sharing tab in printer properties and ensure that the EVERYONE group in the security tab of your printer properties has Print ticked
2) On the machine that you would like to use the printer from  Click Start > RUN and type in \\"IP ADDRESS OF The Machine that has the printer attached"\"Share Name That you just gave it"
ie like this \\RichiesMachine1\HPPRINTER
