Question : Recovery disk No.2 needed for a Sony Vaio PCG-FR102/FR105

Hi all,

The hard drive has just failed on my friends Sony Vaio laptop which I think is about 5 years old

Until now she had never noticed that of the 4 recovery disks, she has 2 of the Disk numbered 1, 1 * disk 3 and 1 * disk 4 but disk 2 is missing.

Does anyone know where I can download disk 2 or have a copy of the disk?

I have sent an email to sony because they dont allow you to download recovery disks but as the laptop is about 5 years old they may not respond positively.

You'll have to wait for sony. If they don't have recovery disks anymore, you'll have to install a retail version of XP.
