Question : Editting Access Table/Query from Excel with Microsoft Query
I've successfully linked to an Access Table from Excel using Microsoft Query. But outside of using parameters/criteria to filter the list, is there a way to work with the data before you bring it over. Say, for example, I wanted to add a month field that takes the month of the date field. (eg. 1/1/09 becomes 1).

I do not believe you can edit the structure of an Access table from Excel using Microsoft Query. You can only use Microsoft Query in a Data Manipulation mode not a Data Definition mode.
