Question : Outlook 2007 search

Hi,

In outlook 07, when you type in the text you want to search, it will go out and fetch it back. If it did not find it, it will offer you if you want to to search other folders.

I have an email with subject like this SH00123456789, it can not locate it if I type in 6789, but if I type in from the from , like SH01, it will find it....any ideas?  thx

What happens if you type in (above) 001234 ?

I find in  SRX111831...  that if I type in SRX, I find all SRX; if I type in 1118, I find this SRX number; if I type in 831.. I do not find this SRX number. Perhaps it does not find partial numbers. It does find partial text, but perhaps the basic algorithm does not handle the part number. ... Thinkpads_User
