Question : MS Access changes input language

I use MS Access for a database I made myself for a club. I used to run the database on access 2000, and now I run the same database (*.mdb) on 2007. This problem exists in BOTH.

I have two languages installed: English and Chinese. The Language bar is enabled, and it sits in my taskbar. Every time I start typing in MS Access tables, queries, or forms, it starts typing in Chinese. Then I have to change the language manually from the language bar. Every time I press return, or tab, it changes the language back to Chinese. Extremely annoying. I can't find a solution.

Please help. This problem DOES NOT occur in any other Microsoft Office program except access.

I am running Win XP Home Edition SP2.

Thanks

Answer : MS Access changes input language

Thanks for the reply TextReport.

What is a northwind database and how do I "try it".

I have tried creating new databases and the problem is still there. The only way to remove is to uninstall the secondary language installed from language settings. (not an option).

Also, where are the language settings, I checked the property sheet of the database and my tables..andI don't see a language setting? I might not be looking in the right place?

yes I am on a stand alone pc.
