Question : vista/windows7 vpn can't ping (was working in XP)

I recently upgraded my XP to windows7 and strangely my cisco annyconnect is connecting fine, but I cannot ping a single thing over the vpn. Nothing changed except my OS. I know this same thing happening with some of my other colleagues as well in vista and win7.

XP and other users are working fine and my XP office PC is also running fine.

Where should I look?
