Assuming you are using vmware server, you need to configure nic teaming at the host level, i'm not sure if can be done in VM level
Once teaming is setup properly at your host, you need to ensure vmware bridge protocol is enabled for the teamed adapter
Not all NICs are supported, mostly Intel & Brooadcom based NICs should work
