Question : How do I check if my Video Card driver is up to date in Gateway 6800-01e

Hello, I have an Gateway FX 6800-01e and updated to windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit) and was wondering the easiest way to make sure that all my drivers (especially my video card) are up to date after upgrading to Windows 7. How Would I go about doing this?

Here is a link to my machine: http://www.gateway.com/systems/product/529668210.php
And I know that Instead of 512MB i Have the 1GB version of the video card

Thanks,
Anthony

If you go into Device Manager, you can right click on various components - e.g. network adaptors, audio device, display adaptor - and choose "Update Driver Software... from the pop-up menu.

Even if Gateway don't have Windows 7 drivers, they may have 64-bit Vista drivers which usually do the job OK.

If you download PC Wizard 2010 (or SIW), install and run it, you'll be able to identify all your system components. then you can go directly to the manufacturer of your motherboard and other devices for the latest drivers.

There are websites which provide driver update services, like http://www.driverguide.com/ but I wouldn't recommend them.
