Question : Split form column printing

I was wondering if it was possible to print out the filtered data from a split form. The split form has about 25 columns and I would like to pick and choose which ones are visible but would also like to print this "filtered" data on a nice report.  Is this possible?  I guess it would be a completely dynamic report.  To make awarding points fair, is there an example somewhere out there?  I am really looking for direction.
