Question : SSRS Datasets Problem

Hello Experts,
I am trying to create a weekly sale performance report.
I have created a dataset and displayed weekly sales data based on a report parameter. When I choose the 44 from the report parameter and the sales data appears on the screen for the week 44.
I want to add a new column to the report .And this column will contain previous week's sales amount.
How can I do this.
Any idea?

Could you please post the query that you are currently using to retrieve the data?  From the info that you've provided it's not even possible to tell if you're retrieving data from a regular relational SQL DB or from an OLAP cube...

With the extra info I'll try to help you out!
