Question : Page file limitations for Windows 2003 Enterprise
I am trying to expand the page file for one of my servers. The page file size recommended is 4990MB. I try setting the minimum to 4990 and max to 4990 (for example) I get a message that state (Enter a maximum page file size that is greater than or equal to the initial page file size, and less than 4096). Why is it suggesting 4990 when I can't set the max over 4096? No matter where I set the Max, if it is over 4096, it gives me the error (this makes sure that it is showing greater than the Min settting). This is a Dell 2950 with 4GB RAM and plenty of HD space.
Thanks,
John
