Question : Can't open .chm files over network

Hi,
i recently installed an update for an economics program called Hogia lon. When users trying to open the included help/news file in this program, wich are a .chm file, nothing happens. I guess it’s a security problem. The program files and .chm file is located on a different server (network share). If I copy the file to the local machine it can be opened.
