Question : Windows XP SP2

I cannot install SP2 on Windows XP.  "Windows XP Service Pack 2 installation failed.
An internal error occurred." is the error.  I'm useing a SP2 CD from Microsoft, I also copied the CD to the HD and I still get an error.  Any ideas?  Thank you.

Answer : Windows XP SP2

The Svcpack.log file can be used to determine why the SP2 installation failed. This file is present in "C:\Windows" folder.

Few have reported successful SP2 installation via Safe Mode (with or without Networking support). You may try that, as well.
