Question : monitor file creation in specific folder
We have a Microsoft Access 2007 database called Production1, which is used and updated throughout the day by about 10-15 users. The problem is that there are lots of database files (database01, database02, database03 and so on) created in the folder where the Production1 database is located. I need to figure out who and how they get created. Is there a way to monitor the folder and get an alert when a new file is added to it ?
Answer : monitor file creation in specific folder
use filemon.exe from Sysinternal (nowdays - Microsoft): It does not have alert, but You can track by date, just fill in filters, what You need to monitor.
