Question : gpedit.msc not found in Windows 7 Home Premium

I want to perform a simple tweak to increase bandwidth which involves accessing the Group Policy menu,
My research has determined that it's simply not included in Windows 7 Home Premium but that there may be a way to accomplish the same thing through the registry.
Does anyone know how this may be done?

Regards,

Tplayer

Answer : gpedit.msc not found in Windows 7 Home Premium

Tplayer,

1. Go to Start > Run... > type 'regedit' > OK
2. See if you find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Psched
3. If you find it, set NonBestEffortLimit to the value '0' if you want to set to 0.

The QoS Service have to be running.

You could also have a look here: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\Psched\Parameters\Adapters

You have to go through all your network adapters, though.

As for another note, I am most certainly sure this is not available for you.
