Question : IPhone problems

i need help setting up my Iphone 3GS. all the necessary setting are in place but when i try to sync it says "connection to the server failed". it seems that the Iphone is not able to connect the active sync. So how do i test exchange activesync to see it it's working and how do i set it up properly so it can work?

What version of Exchange have you got?

To test connectivity, visit https://testexchangeconnectivity.com and run the Exchange Activesync test.

If you have Exchange 2003, run the test specifying manual server settings.  If 2007/2010, use the autodiscover settings.
