Question : Web part order in SharePoint Server 2007

Simple question I hope...
When I open a Site in Sharepoint 2007, it opens half way down the page.  I have added new Web parts to the original page (above the original web part which is now Zone Index 6).  All are in the Left pane.

Can anyone tell me what needs to be changed to open the page view at the top ie at the web app that has Zone Index 1?  Otherwise I have to scroll up to click on the menus.

have you tried removing the web part from the page?  does the page still jump?  if not, then re-add the web part.

if it's definitely the web part causing the page to jump, try looking at the code in sharepoint designer to see what could be causing the problem.
