Question : SSRS export INTO Excel Tabbed Sheets?

I have a report requirement of taking some EXCEL workbooks that contain Tabbed worksheets and build them into SSRS Reports.

The main requirment from the end users is that the final SSRS report MUST be exported into the exact same format as the original Excel Tabbed Sheet. I've done this before and I think that SSRS just automatically exports the GROUPS into separate TABS in Excel.

Can someone confirm this...AND...if so, is there anyway that the TABS can be assigned a specific NAME...."during" the export from SSRS to Excel?

Thanks
M

The Excel renderer will create a new worksheet whenever you use explicit page breaks in your report.  For example, a table group with Page Break set to Between will put one group instance on a each worksheet.

Please see the following link, it looks like it's as simple as inserting a page break at the end of the table(s)

Giving the sheet's a name is not possible in either SQL 2005 or SQL 2008
