Question : Cannot Remote Desktop into Windows 2000 machine

Hi,

I am trying to RDP into a Windows 2000 machine from an XP machine, but it is not allowing me to.  I have installed the rdp software from Microsoft and since then I am able to access RDP from the Start menu in Win2K, and I am able to RDP to another machine, but not able to remote into it.  Please let me know what I can do?

Answer : Cannot Remote Desktop into Windows 2000 machine

Only W2k3 *Server* had terminal services; if your target machine is W2k professional, you'll need something like VNC (http://www.realvnc.com/).
To enable the administrative remote desktop on W2k *Server*, start the Add/Remove Windows Components, and add Terminal Services in Remote Administration mode.
