Question : installing Project Server 2007 on Windows Server 2008 r2

Hi Experts,

Im trying to install Project Server 2007 on Windows Server 2008 r2 (x64), when i run the Project installfile i get the message sharepoint 2007 needs to be installed first (isent sharepoint services 3.0 enough?) read kb 962935 wich artickel i cant find.

I then downloaded sharepoint services 3.0 sp2 to install this first separately, but when installing i can only choose to install web front end or stand alone, i need the Complete install (i have to be able to choose sql server)

how do i do that?

Answer : installing Project Server 2007 on Windows Server 2008 r2

Yes, there are some compatibility issues with the RTM build of WSS 3.0, SharePoint Server 2007 and/or Project Server 2007. Download the "Trial" installer (it is the same as normal), which for some reason was updated to have SP2 slipstreamed in already.
