Question : Exchange 2003 SMTP conector
We are running exchange 2003 and I am wanting to setup a fax server. We have our fax server setup so that it can accept SMTP messages which the fax software will then send out. That is not the problem it works, what I need to figure out is how to send to that smtp server from my outlook client. Would i just create an SMTP connector in Exchange, point it to the fax server as the smart host then use @faxserver.com as the name space in the connector then just direct my users to send to
[email protected]
?
Thanks for the help
Answer : Exchange 2003 SMTP conector
Just do what you're suggesting:
Create the SMTP connector with the @faxserver.com address space and set it to forward all mail with that address space to your fax server.
