Question : Having trouble getting Dynamics AX4 to connect to AOS server from a DMZ

We're running a Microsoft network in which we have a DMZ setup on a Cisco ASA 5510 with a Dynamics AX4 client installed in domain "DMZ" with Active Directory setup, and have an AOS named "LACO_AX_TEST" running inside the ASA on domain "LACOINC1".  We are having trouble connecting the client to the AOS server.  We have worked with Cisco to open up communication between the client server and the AOS server through the ASA, so feel pretty confident it's not a firewall issue, and that it might be a domain trust problem or something else.  A 1-way trust has been setup from "LACOINC1" to the outside domain "DMZ" as well.  When executing the AXC config file to open the client, it says "failed to establish connection".  We've tried running a TRC log file, but the Trace Parser shows this file to be empty, so that wasn't very helpful.  We need some help from someone experienced in getting AX to run from a DMZ.

Thanks very much

By the way, did you manage to get EP up and running?

If you decide to change the Business Connector account you can do this from here:
AX -> Administration -> Setup -> Security -> Business Connector Proxy

Also don't forget to add the proxy account to the local WSS and IIS groups on the EP server.
