Question : A SQL Server error occurred when tracking contacts in CRM
Hi guys
I've just installed Dynamics CRM v4 and am just getting to grips with it. But I have a problem when trying to track personal contacts within my Outlook into CRM.
I click Set Parent and link to an account or contact and then Save, but I get ' A SQL Server error occurred. Try this action again. If the problem continues, check the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Community for solutions or contact your organisation's Microsoft Dynamics CRM Administrator. Finally, you can contact Microsoft Support.'
Anyone got ideas on what's wrong?
I have exactly the same problem in my test environment as well as production - they were both separate installs so aren't linked in anyway.
Thanks
Paul

Ok can you let me know what was the rollup u happen to install before Rollup 7? Have you tried this feature after installing CRM (without Rollups)? Also can you run the CRM Tracing which would give more information about error
