Question : Outlook rules for to/cc field
Hi All,
I have an user who has 4 different email accounts. Of course he wants to have each one of the emails he receives from each account to go to a different folder. I created a rule for that but that rule only obeys when he is in the To field as a recipient, when he is in the CC field the rule does not obey. I'm not too familiar with outlook rules so I probably did something wrong. What would be the correct way to create a rule where when he is in either the To or CC fields it will move the emails to whatever folder I choose.
Thanks in advance.
PS: BTW, he is using Outlook 2007.
Answer : Outlook rules for to/cc field
There is an option "through specified account"
This rules sets which email address that the email is coming to, you can then send it to whatever folder in the 2nd 1/2 of the rule.
