Question : Can not find Install.wim on vista cd?

I was running Vista Ultimate and went to reformat, deleted my primary partition and continued with the installation. Before it even got to installing an error occurred saying it could not find the sources/install.wim. I took the CD out placed it in my laptop and found install.wim on the CD under the correct folder. Any idea on why I am unable to install an OS now? Also I tried other OS disks (XP, 98) and they were not even recognized as boot-able.

I had this exact same problem with a windows Vista CD Last night.  The problem was caused by a scratch on the Disk I had (Burned Disk).  I burned off another one from the origional and it worked.

Just use another disk and it should fix the problem
