Question : How to disable Windows Media Player?
I'm trying to disable Windows Media Player on my Windows XP Professional machine, by renaming c:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exe
But every time I rename wmplayer.exe, for example by renaming it to wmplayer.ex_ ... the OS somehow immediately creates a new copy of wmplayer.exe which I can see by refreshing the window.
What is doing this??? And how can I disable Windows Media Player? Thanks
