Question : 2008 TS Web Access: Expiring Password Reminder?
In server 2003 and 2008, signing on to a user account via RDP to the remote desktop would result in a "Your password is set to expire in x days.... reset now?" prompt. TS Web / Remote Apps in 2008 simply rejects login attempts when a password has expired. Is there a way to at least remind a user that his or her password will expire soon when they login to TS Web? Or, even better, is there a way to allow a user to reset his or her password via TS Web interface? We'd prefer that the user have the most minimal access and therefore not login to an actual Remote Desktop session--instead they use the published Web Apps each day.
Answer : 2008 TS Web Access: Expiring Password Reminder?
This feature is not supported in Server 2008 but i've read from other people that it may be implemented in Server 2008 R2.
