Question : Using WDS in Capture mode it cannot see the Volume of the traget computer
I have just set up a Windows Server 2003 SP2 with WDS. I had trouble with NIC drivers not installed but the Windows 7 boot.wim sorted that out. But in Capture mode WDS does not see the C: Volume or the computer. The same fault exists with a Dell Optiplex 745 and 755. I am looking round for another model of workstation to try. At the moment I have them only connected by cross-over cable. I have not updated the server or WDS with any updates. This will be a stand-alone DC and never connected to a network.

The machine you are trying to take an image of must be sysprepped first before imagex will show the drive letters.
