Question : Update active directory phone numbers from SharePoint

Hi all,

Does anyone know of a process / method whereby a user could update phone numbers stored in AD from within SharePoint. For example, our receptionist could have a access to a page that uses elevated privileges to update the phone number field only in a GUI.

SharePoint doesn't have anything builtin that will do this, but you can create some custom code to do it.  Or, use one of the premade solutions from Bamboo or here: http://www.codeplex.com/adselfservice
