Question : Access 2007 Header / Footer Bug?
Hello --
I've had an issue surface twice -- two different databases, two different clients, both dbs converted from a previous version to 2007.
A report will suddenly take a grouping header, or a page footer, and expand it to the maximum height allowed. The report won't preview/print, and when you open it in design view you see this huge blank space. Yet, you cannot shrink it back down, and there's nothing in that space to delete!
I found the only way to fix this is to cut whatever is in that section, remove the section, and then re-add the section and paste.
This is so weird, I didn't even bother looking for help, but now it's happened again on an entirely different system so I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered this. Both clients are running 2007 SP2, various operating systems.
Gotta love the weird stuff... always keeps you on your toes!
Thanks,
Ronda
