Question : Exchange 2010 Enterprise Public Folder
So I made a goof after upgrading from 2003 to 2010.
I was following a guide online which skipped the steps of replicating the Public Folders. There was originall a routing connector however I did use the powershell to remove it however Im stuck with two issues:
1.) Public folders via OWA/Outlook state that public folders are not available, I cannot delete the current public folder database because it says you can only have one, and it is the default.
2.) The Old exchange server seems to still popup in some options, is there a way to totally remove this? Or just reformat the old server
Answer : Exchange 2010 Enterprise Public Folder
I ended up just deleting the public profile database, the old dedfault global catalog etc and creating all new ones. Seems like a number of errors went away and users are able to use Free /Busy again without any problems.
