Question : Installation of BackupExec 10
Hello experts,
Few days ago I had to reinstalled Server 2000 and SQL 2000 on top of it.
For backup I attempted to installed BackupExec 10 and got an error message
"The Backup Exec database version you are trying to use does not match the version of this install. Schema changes have been performed on this database which do not match the executables currently being installed. Install will not be able to continue at this time. Please visit the VERITAS support web site for more information"
First time server was installed, I installed BackupExec before SQL 2000.
This time SQL 2000 was first and I believe it caused a problem.
I tried installing BackupExec with it's own database or engine or use SQL2000.
The same result.
It is a server base on Intel Server Mobo, RAID 5, DAT160 tape drive, 2 GB RAM.
Any ideas.

The only solution which worked was switching to BackupExec 11D.
