Question : CD Burning software

I'm lookin for a free cd burning software program. For some reason, the one I downloaded, CD Burner XP, does not recognize my CD-ROM!  So I'm thinking that perhaps I different program is in order.

I have an IBM laptop with Windows XP Pro

This will not meet your needs if you want other general files to be burnt.
