Question : adding a windows 2008 server

Im installing a new 2008 server into an exciting Windows 2000 domain with exchange 2000, we only have a small network consisting of 2 windows 2000 servers and one windows 2003 server, I will be installing exchange 2007 on the new 2008 server and transferring the mailboxes over. Are there any major pitfalls in doing this? Also it will be have to be done on a live network as we dont have the funding to enable a test network.

Answer : adding a windows 2008 server

Humm .... thanks for the updates
Firstly Windows 2008 has issue with communication with Windows 2000 server.
Secondly for being able to migrate from Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2007 you need to have Exchange 2000 with SP4 (August Rollup Patch).
The server that holds FSMO roles is what (W2K or W2k3 and what SP) ??
How many DC\GC's do we have ??
