Question : Setting up Custom Error Pages in Windows Sharepoint Services.  WSS

I am wanting to setup custom error pages in Windows Sharepoint Services.  WSS.  I have tried configuring the custom error pages through IIS but it seems that Sharepoint has overruled those settings, like it does most settings in IIS.

How can I do this?

This worked for us, but try for yourself and see. C:\Windows\Help\IISHelp\Common contains the 400 level html error pages for IIS. We modified the 401-1.htm page to suit our needs and it seems to work.
