Question : WSUS Running

I recently took over an admin position at a company and supposedly they had WSUS running.  I looked around and noticed that several machines are severely behind in getting crit updates.  I haven't messed around with WSUS in a while (Ver 2.0 maybe?).  I just found the server that the documentation says it is installed on.

How do I tell if it's functioning or not?  In the favorites of the machine it is installed on I'm seeing this:  http://this_server_name_here/WSUSAdmin/, but when clicked, page not found displays.

Sounds like it "used" to be installed.
