Question : Out-of-Office rule doesn't forward emails sent to distribution list

Hi,

One of my users has a rule setup on their out-of-office assistant that needs to forward everything to another recipient. The problem is that when somebody sends an email to a distribution list that includes this user, it doesn't get forwarded to the intended recipient. Some of the distribution list the user is in, are really important and the message needs to get to the person covering !

Please help !!

ill post the real response in case the link do not work:

hi there.
If you want out of office messages to be sent by members of a distribution group when a message is sent to that distribution group, you must enable the "Send out of office messages to originator" option on the Exchange Advanced tab of the distribution group's Properties in Active Directory Users and Computers.
